I think it's a great idea, I have talked to my hubby about this before. I would pay up to $20 just to be able to do my pet dailies, manage my pets etc? Hubby did mention he saw an interview with blizzard regarding this where the main idea of this whilst being looked into was 'too complicated'.

I wonder if we could maybe start a petition or something?

If there was an app I'd certainly use it!

As long as it's free that would be an awesome idea for an app.

I think it all comes down to interest and looking at the number of people who level/battle pets, i don't think its terribly appealing to them right now.

I'm more inclined to believe that a mobile variant would generate interest.

When Hearthstone was released for iOS a lot more people started playing it because it had the mobility they wanted. When it came out for Android, the same thing happened again. I don't play Hearthstone at all on my desktop, but I do play it on my phone as a method of killing time.

Mobility has become a desirable trait for games, or even certain aspects of games. We already have the mobility of the auction house and guild chat. With what they have learned from mobilizing Hearthstone, the idea of pet battling via mobile isn't a stretch.
