miss vs strategy
anyone else notice that you can execute the perfect strategy, anticipate your opponent's every move, but still lose to a single miss? i'm calling them "critical misses" now. i'm just wondering if anyone else sees this. and i mean, i know it's always happened. but it's happening entirely too often for my ego to keep enjoying pvp pet battling.
Re: miss vs strategy
Unfortunately pet battles typically don't last long enough for RNG to smooth out over time so such cases are bound to stay fresh in your mind. Plus some pets suffer from misses more than others; it's interesting that your avatar is Xu-Fu considering a missed Prowl>Feed can often be the difference between a healthy Xu-Fu and a dead opponent and a healthy opponent and a dead Xu-Fu.
It's one of the reasons people choose to run "stall comps" as a single miss usually won't set them back very much. If misses are frustrating you so much it might be a sign that your teams are too centered around burst.
