More frustration.

On late Monday night all my adds went berserk and I was unable to sign in. After about 50 tries to log in I gave up and watched a few episodes of doctor who to cheer up while telling myself "I will fix this tomorrow after college and before raid." So, after re-updating all of my add-ons I was able to log on to WoW.

:!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: Shortly after that I noticed all my healing add-ons where not working. I rushed To remember every setting I had to make raid time. Good news I made it but my heals still where off. I spent all tues (YAY snowday so no school!) fixing this. Finally able to relax 8-) 8-) 8-) I decided to do my daily pet quests and PVP battles. When I go look at my pet battle team add-on and notice all my teams are all gone, I want to Sparta Kick this PC off my 5th floor balcony and watch it smash into pieces.

I had over 50 teams. Each team I made personally after many months of trial and error.

I had teams for
EACH TRAINER
MULTIPLE PVP
MULTIPLE LEVELING TEAMS
and a few fun teams that made me laugh.

Since Tuesday I have not done any pet battles. :(

If you got any Teams that are great for anything (even a laugh) feel free to post. (just post why it is great also)

Thanks for letting me vent out some steam.

Pet Battle Teams has, in the options, an import button. It probably won't help you but it's worth a try.

The teams are all saved in the PetBattleTeams.lua file, if you have a backup of your PC you can take that file from there.

It's in the options, where you configure the addons. At the bottom, a red button.

Esc - Configure - Add-ons - ...

Otherwise, use this for a start

Oh man, I had the exact same thing happen. Apparently if your client crashes in a particular way, it'll corrupt your WTF folder, and screw up your addons. Though, aside from the few I (over)use (Lio <3s kneebiter/gnome/scourged whelpling BFF <3<3) it's actually been kind of fun. I've been making up semi-viable teams off the cuff, just because they make me smile or whatever. Because of the cold snap, I've been playing a Blizzard-centric team with a kun-lai runt and tiny snowman, with either a penguin or father's helper as an alternate. Thinking about a lunar festival-themed one, though I can't think of a good 3rd after a lantern and a snake, heh.

I get taking a break, *BELIIIIIIEVE* me, but don't let this sour you on battling forever.

Well, since it's the LUNAR festival, how about Moon Moon? ;)

Im currently trying out lots of different pets to try and get some use out of less used pets.

A team that is beginning to be dear to me is:
P/P Azure Crane Chick(Quills,Cleansing Rain,Surge).
S/S Leopard Tree Frog(Tongue Lash,Healing Wave,Frog Kiss).
and a third pet, preferrably with some avoidance. I haven't settled on any single one yet but trying out:
S/S Flayer Youngling(Blitz,Deflection,Kick) or S/S Nether Faerie Dragon or just a P/S Blighthawk...

Bird hits hard, can give a small team heal and 25% boost to Frog Kiss and it's own Surge, which often catches people by surprise especially after loosing Flying racial.

I even did try and build a team from very "standard" pets. It wasn't that much fun though.
325 speed Civet with Bite(or Gnaw), Survival and Dive.
305 Power Zooey Snake with Poison Fang(or Bite), Hiss and Burrow.
325 speed Tickbird Hatchling with SlicingWind(or Trash), Cyclone and Lift-Off.
This team got 3 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses. But you had to work alot for the victories. Important thing was that each pet was fast and had a "evade" move.

Also trying to work H/B Yellow-Bellied Marmot into a working team. It hurts undead ALOT, 700-800 crits. But fun thing to do is do a Leap for double speed, then burrow. If your opponent is above 273 speed it will miss two turns staring at the ground, unless of course it can do something else useful.

I know this doesn't help your problem... But at least you know you're not the only one this happened to.
Honestly I wish it did not happen to anyone.

:P

I was going to go with one of the dragons with the more serpent-like appearance, because they remind me of the dragon dance in parades for the lunar new year... but I made a mistake. The year of the snake is *ending*, and there's no tiny pony battle pet for the year of the horse. Boo. My original point being (lol), it's kind of nice to be outside my battling comfort zone for once, and fun to play with teams even when I'm being oblivious and incorrect.
