Theme-based teams!

I love going with themes for my teams, from different family types to pokemon look-a-likes (named as the pokemon they look like for lols) and even raid themed teams. So what are your favourite pet battle teams?

here are a couple of examples:

*Team Firelands - Molten Hatchling (Beth'tilac), Phoenix Hatchling (Alysrazor - Note: it's as close as it gets) and Lil' Ragnaros (Ragnaros).
*Team Molten Core - Core Hound Pup (Magmadar), Lumpy (Garr) and Searing Scorchling (Baron Geddon).

My previous trio were Team Flightless since all 3 were pets that flew (blighthawk/phoenix/azure whelp) but none were actual "Flying" pets :) (undead/elemental/dragonkin)

I wanted to do a Christmas themed team but the holiday pets are all uncommons so you put yourself in a hole out of the gate with them.

But not too much of one; I've leveled my Tiny Snowman and against most pets he does fine, against mechanicals he's outstanding (but then, most elementals are). So if you called a Nordrassil Wisp "Christmas Past", and a Restless Shadeling or Lost of Lordaeron "Christmas Future" (I like the shadeling's look more, but the LoL's ability set more), you could have Christmas and Dickens at once! :) (Because after all, the snowman is/was a "Christmas present"... )

Team crabby, spirit crab(undead)+lava crab(elemental)+strand crawler(aquatic) is a fun combo to use.

I use my team pandaria(Fishy, Pandaren Monk and Spirit of Competition) to catch low level pets that have a habit of getting one-shotted by my main team :P

I love class specifics, so this are the other teams i have or am currently hunting:

Team Druid: Snow Cub, Moonkin Hatchling, Ruby Sapling
Team Shaman: Tiny Twister, Searing Scorchling, Water Waveling
Team Warlock: Creepy Crate, Minfernal, Fel Flame
Team Hunter: Curious Wolvar Pup, Diemetradon Hatchling, Clefthoof Runt
Team Mage: Kirin Tor Familiar, Magic Lamp, Water Waveling
Team Priest: Celestial Dragon, Dark Phoenix Hatchling, Nether Faerie Dragon
Team Monk: Pandaren Monk, Aqua Strider, Marsh Fiddler
Team Rogue: Wolpertinger, Bandicoon, Restless Shadeling
Team DeathKnight: Blighthawk, Ghostly Skull, [pet]Lil' K.T.[/pet]

I also want to make a Team Paladin, but i don't have much inspiration what pets reflect a paladin correctly. anybody has suggestions? dont care about strenght or matchup, just for fun ^^

Long time ago (before we knew what the wild pets were going to be) did a list of Racial themed teams.

http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=55

Could probably go back and redo it now that every race gets a specific starting pet and since there's a larger selection of pets that could probably fit.

I've done TV themes lately.

The core team I started with was Firefly themed:
Serenity the Firefly
Gorram the Personal World Destroyer
Janye the Grunty

I'm going to work on a Doctor Who one soon:
Eleven the Darkmoon Monkey
Rory the Murkimus the Gladiator
and I think I'm going to go with a Cinder Kitten named Amy.

Any of the Lamps could represent the "Light."

A Team I will probably use in the future is Team Disney:

Mushu the Wild Crimson Hatchling
Bambi the Little Fawn
Simbá the Darkmoon Cub

All are three of my favorite Disney movies :)

Ezmirelda the Feline Familiar
Pumpkinhead the Sinister Squashling

Then I have Team Starcraft that I plan to level, I just can't decide between the pets I have for it.

Baneline, Mini Thor, Grunty and a Zergling

And Team DDD

Ting Ting the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
Flit the Celestial Dragon
Frosty the Undead Whelp

Soooo many pets! Soooo little time!

That's awesome! You could do Thumper the bunny of some sort and Flower the skunk and have an all-Bambi team, too.
