Third wheel for Bleed Team? Need suggestions

Postby Patricka177 » November 25th, 2013, 7:16 pm

Hello everyone,

I have been toying with a team idea for a little while now but I need some help picking a third wheel. My team focuses on the bleed effect

Spineclaw Crab - Rip - Healing Wave - Blood in the Water
Infested Bear Bub - Diseased Bite - Hibernate - Maul

The idea is to take advantage of the synergy these two pets create with the bleeding benefits and the ability to self heal. I have been toying with Pierre for bleed and sleep, minefield to take big chunks out of opponents health, but nothing really seems to fit. I was thinking about something like elementium bolt or stuns to help with switches - or even possibly an unborn valk or murkalot. I was hoping for some helpful analytics to get me a third wheel and discuss strategy a bit. Does anyone have any ideas?

What about one of the fishing crocs? They have a bleed and blood in the water as well. Or maybe cats? Don't know if their attacks benefit off hand.

Good luck!

To my knowledge, you have both the bleed synergy abilities covered in your existing team, so a buffer for your bleeds might be a good move. Pretty much any time there's a DoT I like to pull out my Zandalari Raptor, or a Cogblade Raptor with Exposed Wounds, or if you're down on survivability, something with Plagued Blood. If you're looking for just bleeds, a squirrel might be the ticket. Combine the Wood Chipper bleed with an extra DoT in Nut Barrage and that's a lot of extra damage. You'd likely get ripped apart by a team with decent flying, though.

bleed teams have great synergy with call lightning. Also a bleed team's achilles heal is sandstorm so being able to change the weather is very useful. I would suggest trying out a sunreaver micro-sentry in your third slot. It has another bleed effect of its own in fel immolate as well as extra plating and call lightning.

A Sprite Darter Hatchling or Nether Faerie Dragon would protect against Flyers and Sandstorm, potentially buff the heals of your other pets, and Life Exchange or Evanescence are both good moves. Worth a shot.

It's a tricky one to get a hold of, but I've used a Darkmoon Rabbit on my bleed team to great effect(I used a bleed team to get my stunted direhorn). Both of your other pets are pretty slow, while a high speed rabbit is practically unparalleled in that regard. It can set up bleeds for your other pets as well, and the evasion is a great thing for any team.

Squirrels with woodchipper that are fast might be able to do the same!
