Minefield bugged?

Everytime I have my warbot use minefield in a pvp battle, it never procs. Its supposed to cause damage when the enemy player swaps in a new pet but it never does.

I have had this happen sometimes with my
Mini Thor. I have noticed that if my Thor dies, that it won't work, but also sometimes it just doesn't work when they switch.

This has been a bug through the beta too. I've never seen it work, and one of the first pets I leveled was the Pet Bombling.

There still seems to be a lot of spell bugs around.
I hope they fix it in patch 5.0.1

I've seen something very similar with Lil'XT. If I swap or he bites it the bombling just kind of stands there mocking me with it's potential damage.
One of the reasons I've swapped to Clockwork Gnome...the only time the turrets have bugged for me is when it didn't despawn but stayed up, doing damage every round. I imagine my opponent was not amused.
