Not a problem. Front load your carry pet, then switch to an Eternal Strider for Cleansing Rain, Pump x 2, Water Jet, etc. Then clean up opponents 2 and 3 with the Son of Animus as usual.

I also noticed that Zusshi no longer has a wandering mob crossing the area. (I can replace the L88 parked there with an L1). In point of fact, most of the Tamer/Spirit battles can take a carry pet with 2 L25's. I think they probably changed Nishi so that Magical Crawdad (with a little luck) can't solo the whole thing!

So.... my question is, where is Aki? I expect that when I find her, she'll be tweaked so that Anubsiath Idol (with a little luck) can't solo that encounter, either.

Regards,
Silverthorn

Aki is now located slightly west of the small village in the Vale :)

My Emperor Crab still soloed all 3 of her pets although I did have to heal whenever it was available during the sunflower. It got close once.

Aki, is on the other side of the Vale at 31.2, 74.3, Mistfall Village right in front of the gy. She doesn't seem to have changed much. My Idol and Crimson Hatchling pretty much wipe the floor with her.

A good solid strategy that still smokes Farmer Nishi: (copied and altered from the current Pandaria Tamers veteran guide)
1 - Carry pet, 2 - Eternal Strider [8-P/S] (1,2,2), 3 - Darkmoon Tonk [-] (1,1,2)
vs Siren
- Attack with your Carry pet > switch to Eternal Strider
- Cleansing Rain > Pump > Water Jet > Pump
vs Toothbreaker
- Water Jet > Pump > Cleansing Rain > Water Jet > Pump (changed as he survives the Pump after surfacing)
vs Brood of Mothran
- Water Jet > Pump > Pump > Water Jet until your Eternal Strider dies (odds are you wont live for this, unless he misses on his Dive)
- Switch to Darkmoon Tonk > Shock and Awe > Ion Canon

The 3rd pet can really be anything that hits hard against Mothran. The order of attacks on Toothbreaker and Brood of Mothran are set to not waste rounds when they are underground.

I know, right! :o Took me a few "hits" to realize what was going on - this had become such a no brainer for me and my power leveling. Still can be, just have to pay attention again :D

I was also surprised to see that the Sunflower remembered it's attacks! My set still worked though:

1) Snarly. I love this guy. He still devoured the Sunflower in 3-4 attacks (Rip, Blood in the Water, Surge, Surge).

2) When Toothbreaker comes out, I bring out my levelling pet. Granted, I usually use this fight to level pets that are already in their teens, so they can take the hits from his sons. When Toothbreaker reemerges, I bring out Snarly again.

Now, this time, Snarly was pretty low-- whereas before, he still usually had about 1300hp. But Toothbreaker didn't attack him terribly, and Snarly managed to kill him off rather easily.

3) Snarly used to take out the larva too, but this time I had to bring in my 3rd pet-- I fortunately had my Cogblade Raptor in there would chewed the guy up.

I did carry pet, lol deathwing, and strand crab ( carry pet at at least lvl 10). Open with deathwing, cast darkness after sunflower hits sunlight, then cataclysm and tail swipe trade offs till dead, switch to crab for the turnip, do until the worm, then use crab an deathwing to bring worm down to like 150/200 health then switch to the carry pet and finish off or at least hit the worm once and switch back. Used to be easier using a softshell crab to take out both elemental a but alas blizz likes to make life miserable.

Same as Balazaar, I used my leveling pet for one hit then my Emperor Crab (P/P) took care of the rest. I only need to use my 3rd pet on occasion to finish off the grub.

Personally, I love that Nishi is no longer a cake walk. I was able to down her yesterday with my normal team, but I had to do the last bit of damage on the worm with the carry pet (LOL). I am going to have to redo my team though so I can counter the sunlight (previously, I had been taking advantage of the sunlight to boost my team's health).

Edit: Regarding Aki... I managed to take her team with my normal team. It is a little tricky working the sandstorm now, and my Anubisath Idol died to the first surge by the otter, but my 3rd pet is a moth who took out that otter with no issues.

I was also caught offguard, however they havn't ruined it at all, but made a boring fight at least somewhat interesting. After the first fight and death of my strider I thought he was at 400 something HP from a previous fight, because I didn't even looked at the "fight". In the second try I realized, that her sun beam really hurts now, so in the third try I didn't save the second pump but finish the sunflower off with cleasing rain, pump, pump, water jet.

So this fight is still an easy win, maybe you want to adjust your team or strategy. For me this was a welcome change.

Try to see it this way: after some thousand battles farmer Nishi finally managed to do what all battle pet trainers should do: adapt to her opponents and teach her pets some tricks ;)
