I think this upcomming pet have a rather interesting and open ability set. Most notably it appears to be the first pet that can use the Cleansing Rain/Dreadful breath combo innately. And Swallow You Whole gets the damage buff from the weather.
Their other set: Corrosion/Expunge/Curse of Doom could have use as well, though I think they pale compared to the primary combo.

Re: Droplet of Y'shaarj thoughts
Acid Rain/Dreadful Breath is definitely interesting. The cooldowns line up perfectly, so you can alternate them for respectable AoE damage. Dreadful Breath is base 7 damage per target; Rainy weather bumps it up to 9 base (so 105 damage from a 280 power pet; up to 135 with Rain up). It's decent but not jaw-dropping. If only Dreadful Breath were aquatic, then Rain would really give it some punch. As it is, 400 damage split 3 ways isn't any higher than what many pets can do single-target, and Droplet needs to devote 2 moves to get that damage, so there's no room for utility. But those are problems with AoE pets/teams in general, not just Droplet.
I'm still going to try him out as an AoE pet, if I manage to get one.

It has some interesting abilities on one pet.. but for pvp, it will be a pain to use effectively. Maybe the first week someone will get suckered into the ´swallow you whole´
But will probably be really useful against some legendaries and scripted pve tamers.

Yes, it seems mainly a pve pet.
But if you want a PvP pet, Ruby Droplet seems to have potential as an irritating staller pet with its bottom tier abilities.

Note it still have its old name in the link.
