Round 1, attack with pet you want to level, then pull it out.
Anubisath Idol next. Sandstorm to nullify cricket and crush to finish. Going into dragon, you are at full health.
Deflection the first lightning attack, sandstorm to eliminate lightning and finish with crush. Unless you have real bad luck, Idol should be at half life when dragon goes down.
3rd opponent, the otter, just skip first turn (he's faster than you) and uses his dive attack. Deflection the attack, Sandstorm, then crush. Rinse and repeat when he dives a second time, and this match is over.
If your luck sucks and Idol dies before you finish the fight (happens about 2 out of 10 times for me), I use Brilliant Kaliri for the third pet, and he crushes the otter in no time.

Thanks for all the great suggestions! I am beating Aki easily now..using Anubisath Idol. I am going to try out some of the other ones suggested, just for the experience.
