Looking for Recommendations for PVP Pet Teams

I'm interested in grinding the 250 PVP pet battle achievement, but I've not done a single PVP pet battle. I'm looking for some easy to put together PVP pet teams that don't rely on some horribly rare pets. I was wondering if anyone had some advice of some good teams. I found Maniack's post on his recommended teams and it was very helpful(http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4392). Are there any other suggested starter comps? What are the most common pet types on PVP teams? Anything I should avoid? Any help would be appreciated.

Here were Maniack's suggested team comps.

Team 1
Ghostly Skull Using Death Coil, Ghostly Bite, Unholy Ascension
Enchanted Broom with Batter, Sweep, Wind-up
Crow with Alpha Strike, Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike

Team 2
Flayer Youngling using Blitz , Deflection , Kick
Crawling Claw using Agony , Death Grip, Curse of Doom
Scalded Basilisk Hatchling using Crystal Prison, Feign Death, Thrash

haha. same request.

I just came her to post to ask for a team or two that will get me close to .500 win rate. Ironically, I am worse at pet battle pvp than I am at pvp overall.

If you want to gain some basic experience without to much frustration start with team 1 (workes very well for me) and then after you got a feel for the whole pet pvp thing start to experiment or try one of the other teams mentiones accross this board (thats what I will do soon).

For example here:

Of course, part of pvp success is when your opponent doesnt know your plan.
I like to run a team of anub.idol, lil rags and the shostly skull

One reason is that even though I could field a better team (I'm up to near 70 of the better pets at lvl 25)
I want a fun game where my opponent will not run off if one of their pets goes down

This team has accuracy/dmg debuff with sandstorm, and I use anub's stun chance move instead of deflect

The skull hits well with ghostly bite and leaves the field with unholy ascension

lil rags is a solid hitter with another stun move which can save your skin often... I lead with him maybe 40% of the time and the skull the rest of the time to set up U.Ascension ... often the opponent will think you'll lead with the idol and thus you get good matchups
