5.3 patch .... now I can't put Pandaren Monk on the team

It's weird. Pandaren Monk is present in my list of pets with Collected checked and Not Collected unchecked. However, the icon image is gray and I can't move it onto my pet team. Any idea what's going on? I suspect Patch 5.3 since it just came out today, but other players have been using their Pandaren Monks today, so I have no clue.
