I was never given a quest to defeat pet tamers.

Like the title says, I was never given quests for defeating pet tamers. Help?

Usually that means you haven't finished all the trainers on a given Continent. If it's eastern Kingdoms you have to start them using an alliance toon. But can finish them on a horde toon.

Did you go talk to the pet battle trainer in your respective city to learn pet battling? After you learn it they should offer you a quest which starts a chain that eventually leads to defeating all the tamers on your respective continent (Kalimdor for Horde, EK for Ally).

Considering it looks like your horde, head to the flight master in org. The pet trainer is just a tiny bit north of him.

Well, Varzok doesn't seem to have a quest for me today. Dunno if it is intended or not though.

Some players have this bug for an unknown reason - if you HAVE DONE the basic tutorials from the pet teacher, culminating in being contacted by the Pet Trainer in your capital city, but DO NOT recieve the "Battle your first Trainer" tamer quests from them, contact a GM in-game and have them manually activate that quest. Once they get the first trainer battle quest fixed and in your quest log, you are fixed and good to go.
Interestingly, both times I contacted customer support about the issue, they were able to see the quest just fine and hand the character back to me, and both times I could not accept the quest. It had to be manually added to my quest log to begin.
