Battle-Stones from Tamer Battles

I've seen a few people talk about getting Battle-Stones as awards from tamer battles, but not from the bag you receive from the quest. I got one the other day from the Darkmoon Faire tamer and figured I'd share. I got the stone as soon as the battle ended, exactly like you get them from battles with wild pets. Since the first pet I faced in the battle was the Darkmoon Tonk and I received a mechanical stone, I'm assuming that tamer battles offer the same chance at stones that wild pet battles have.

That's pretty interesting and lucky! I've never experienced or seen a stone drop as a result of a Tamer battle and not the daily bag. I wonder if this is intended or a bug?

I've had this happen to me before. Most recently a few weeks ago, a beast dropped off the dude in feralas.
