I just got a flawless mechanical battle stone and I am wondering what Mech pet to upgrade. I have rares of all the wild pets and upgraded the Yeti already so any suggestions on which uncommon from the trade-able ones to upgrade and level?

I now have the same issue. My Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling is already rare, I used a non-specific stone on him because I had seen multiple of every type of stone as well as a couple of non-specific ones but never a mechanical so Dragon got upgraded. But now finally I got a mechanical stone.
I used to use my Mechanical Squirrel all the time until I got the Clockwork Gnome and I was hoping to upgrade him, but i'm looking at the Personal World Destroyer and thinking he might be the better choice.

So. . . for my mechanical stone, do I upgrade my mechanical squirrel or my personal world destroyer? OR, do I save the stone and use it on Mechanopeepthat I still don't have?

When i decide which pet to upgrade, the first ones i choose is the quest related non tradeable uncommons because the tradeable uncommons do occasionally pop up cheap on AH if you got the patience. So in this case i would recommend Clock'Em if you got Brawler's Guild rank 4. Brawler's Guild invite you can farm from rare mobs in Krasarang Wilds ;-)

Clock' em is already rare upon acquisition, so no need to save a stone for that one (the invites should be very affordable on the Black Market Auction House by now btw).
My suggestion for an upgrade would be the Tranquil Mechanical Yeti, as he is actually pretty useful in combat.

I am curious why the suggestions to upgrade the mechanical dragonling? I actually got a mechanical stone yesterday, already have an upgraded Mechanical Yeti.. His stats seem only ok for a mechanical given his breed. I know Decoy can be very handy to avoiding very hard hitting attacks.

Basically what do you find your dragonling used for? Not that I am not going to upgrade him, I am just curious...

As Gendou said, the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling has a strong attack against Magic, yet magic attacks are weak against it.

In addition, Decoy will be somewhat "nerfed" in 5.2 (longer cooldown). This doesn't make it less useful, but the cooldown could potentially change the timing of when you use abilities. Just something to consider when picking a mech pet to upgrade/use.
