Thank you, Papazol! This strategy was the winning combination for the Family Fighter achievement for me. I tried other strategies without any success but with patience and persistence, on try #51 the RNG Goddess gave me the win by 18 points.
It is an amazingly, brilliant strategy! Kudos for figuring out how to beat the Snozz.

It is an amazingly, brilliant strategy! Kudos for figuring out how to beat the Snozz.

After 30+ attempts with this i have realized that the amount of luck required with this is astonishing. Here is what HAS to happen for this to actually work...

1. Hatchling MUST die when he gets swapped out or he will end with 280hp which is the same hp Emmigosa will also have and for whatever reason, since they have the same HP, Hatchling is the one that gets picked and you'll loose. To make sure Hatchling dies, he MUST get hit with flank 3 times.

2. Snozz CANNOT crit anywhere...maybe on a flank...once.

3. Yu'la MUST get hit with flank twice to have a low enough HP for life exchange to take enough from snozz.

4. Emmigosa HAS to crit with claw after Snozz heals.

If Yu'las last breath does not put Snozz at 402 or lower, just start over and try again. for whatever reason, Surge will never crit.

This fight is frustrating as hell.

Of those, I think the only one I got on my kill was 3). Yu'la does need to get double tapped so you steal enough health with Life Exchange.

just hit 50 attempts here on snozz with the dragon team...F this RNG

EDIT: 52 attempts did it! finally got a solid crit with flame breath bringing him to 250ish so swap then surge finished him off.

This strategy for Snozz and Dragonkin is the ONLY one that I have found that works. Period. I tried them all and created numerous ones myself to no avail.
It is difficult to almost impossible and takes the patience and persistence of a SAINT but it will eventually be successful

From another side, I have to say thank to Warcraftpets forum. I also get some strategies here.

Wondering how many of the people that have completed this got Gloamwing aquatic by doing Snozz yesterday. Seems ridiculously hard due to high speed, swaps and buffed damaged vs aquatics. And then there is the RNG of how many Slicing Wind hits it does.

Edit - About 10 minutes after posting, got it.

Mud jumper - 1-2-1 (H/B)
Gulp Froglet - x-1-2 (H/B)
Gahz'Rooki - 2-2-2

1 - whatever
2 - Gulp uses Mudslide
3 - Gulp uses Corpse Explosion (if slicing wind hits once - if not, restart) put in Mud Jumper
4 - Bubble
5 - Swarm of Flies
6 - Water Jet
7 - Water Jet
8 - Predatory Strike kills Mud Jumper
9 - Gahz'rooki uses Swallow You Whole
10 - Swallow You Whole (this one does extra damage)

I got a crit on Mudslide for 310 damage whereas it's was doing 207 without, that may have made the difference

I don't understand. Doing snozz gave credit for Gloamwing? B/c Gloamwing is REALLY stomping my aquatics.

There was a bug where Snozz gave Gloaming credit and Gloamwing gave Snozz credit. Fixed this morning so only happened day 1. But only for aquatics.

Jod, how do you get Bubble/Swarm/Water Jet x2 off? Don't you get swapped on round 4 before you can bubble?

The mudslide prevents the pet from being swapped out

Do you have to use H/B breed for Gulp ? I have BB and HP these pets are hard to get.

Frankly that's just the frog I have. I put the breed in because some like that. I don't usually pay much attention to breed.

This fight isn't hard, just boss pet is bad designed for such fight with high (not so, actualy) random things. To decrease random I lowered Froglet heath by starting game with it like front pet, run after void gate and put in on 3d place.
So fight:
Blue carp - Surge, is swaped on Tideskipper -Crush-Geyser-Crush, Tideskipper dies. Froglet-Swarm, Froglet dies. Blue carp - Mana surge.

This fight has 3 points with random.
A. Tideskipper hasn't die from Predator strike or Slicing wind. he has die from Void. It is happens like 1 time in 15-20 trys. So, "1-3" is mostly "2-3" for boss.
B. Froglet has die from 2d Slicing wind. It does 397 dmg non crit so with full hp Froglet needs to be hitted like 5 times. With less 1600 hp but higher 1200, it needs only 2:2 what is real and doesn't die from 3+.
C. We need good dmg roll. Some dmg is obligate - surge 115, swarm - 21*3, Geyser - 713, 1st Mana surge - 713. So it is 1604 dmg, and we need 432 more from Crush and 2d Mana surge hits. Crush may do 112-205, 2d Mana surge 232-348. In worst case even get great Slicing wind we may get only 324 dmg. And I got this scenario (6 hp left) before win. But with middle dmg rolls or any crit from Surge or Crush we get good dmg.
Still, I have say what win is 1 for 50-100 trys (Slicing wind random). So, up to you.

2. [pet]Son of skum[/pet] - Stampede/Stoneskin/Lightning shield
3. [pet]Snowfang[/pet] (1000 hp) - Ice lance/Frost shock/Ice tomb
Fight is aquatic stile but much more easier.
First decrease Snowfang hp to 1000.
Fight - Footslasher is swaped on Son - Lightning shield-Stampede, Son dies. Snowfang - Ice tomb, Snowfang dies. Footslasher - hunting party - Bloodfang. Win.
Win conditions:
- Son has die from Void,
- Snowfang has die from 2d Slicing wind.
You can win every 2d time or more often.

1. [pet]Jadefire spirit[/pet] - Jade claw/Immolate/Fade
2. [pet]Crazy carrot[/pet] - Ironbark/Aged york/Blistering cold
