Just as an FYI, since I didn't know this, you can talk to Breanni's Manafiend pet in Dalaran and get ported to Wailing Caverns after you have completed the quest at least once. Maybe I was the only one who missed this but just in case I wasn't. Good luck in there.

Thanks for that, I hardly ever go in there so didn't talk to them again, I've just been flying from Feralas.

If ur going there for the first time, (ally only) port to the shrine, then talk to the NPC to the left of the NPC who offers the fabled beasts pet quests. for 10 gold he will port you to ratchet (just pay and step in his machine) and wailing caverns isn't too far from there.

Kinda weird for me ... I changed the perspective ... had a character in Orgrimmar doing some newbie pet battles, pickling up the low levels in the area (Durotar also) and take those pets to 5 and then off to the Northern Barrens and take them to 7 or 8, since the XP at that level is fast and efficient. And voila ... you are quite close to the Caverns, from the Crossroads!

GAWD .... the old days ... you know how tough that place was?

The Manafind is now in Boralis/Zandalar too, so no need to go to Dalaran for that.

Thank you for this, had not noticed. It's where you pick up the quest for Gnomer, so just outside Ruff Waters in Boralus.
