Ah yes, good catch. I meant Nov 10th
What is the optimal mix of XP buffs to use with Squirt battles?
I have plenty of lesser treats.
I have the Safari Hat.
Should i get the bigger treats & some darkmoon xp buff hats?
I don't want to overkill it with buffs if the extra xp is just going to waste on the final fight with each pet.

It takes 2 battles with the Safari Hat to take the pet from 1 to 25. So there's no point in adding treats - you can't cut it down to 1 battle anyway.

So we have Dec25 as one of the magic days with Squirt and the Pet Bonus EXP event coming up. I was trying to plan ahead a little and mapped out the schedules alignment. However, I don't see the bonus events in the in-game calendar for 2019. Do we have any reason to worry they won't be coming back next year?

They probably will add them with the patch in December. The timewalking weeks will need to be shifted to accommodate WoD timewalking, which I think they said was being added in 8.1.5, which will be the first 2019 patch.

Did Squirt go on vacation and forgot to tell us? It is/was November 25th, 2018 and based on the posted calender she was scheduled to appear. yet she did not. Nor was she up on Nov 24th (In case the schedule was wrong, nor is she here today, November 26th. Anyone have an idea where she is?

For me, Squirt was up Saturday, November 25th, as listed in the schedule on the original post. Which team did you see in your garrison instead?

LOL..NM. I was wrong. She was there, looking all shy and meek. I had a LONG day at work and just spaced her. I did get in a few leveling pets last night before wandering off to bed.

I might be wrong but I think that there is a Pet event and and squirt in the garrison for the EU on the 31st August which means being a Saturday more free leveling time.

If it's every 15 days.. we should have another Super Squirt happen on Oct. 21st (NA). Unless I counted that wrong.

Super Squirt follows a very predictable cycle. (Yes to 10/21/19 and 12/05/19 for US). Given that pet battle week is on a 49 day cycle and Squirt is on a 15 day cycle, the combined cycle is 735 days (105 weeks or 2 years + slightly less than a week). For instance, every Friday Super Squirt in the US will be 5/24/2019 or some multiple of 105 weeks from then. A quick way to do this is to add two years and then find the first day that's the same weekday (5/28/2021 is the first Friday after 5/24/2021) So with a list of a Super Squirt day on each weekday, it's possible to predict future dates. If anything (patch?) affects the sequencing of Garrison battles or event weeks, it will throw the schedule off, but the same logic will be usable.
However, there's an easier practical way to do the prediction. If US Super Squirt Day is a Sat/Sun/Mon, then in 7 weeks (1 pet battle week cycle), 45 days (3 Squirt cycles) in the future will be another on Tue/Wed/Thu. If US Super Squirt Day is a Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri, then in 21 weeks (3 pet battle week cycles), 150 days (10 Squirt cycles) in the future will be another on Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon.
This allows the following table(s) to be easily generated. Note that I've assumed Europe's resets are Wed to Tue, so are event weeks, hence Tue is +45 and Sat is +150. If that's not the case, let me know and I will update things (first 4 days of event week are +150, last 3 days are +45)
