I can use it in an opposite way! The standard menagerie battles give 100-200 XP now, so I can finally make up pets that have 90+% to a full level.

This time it's a positive one.

Recently I've been performing an "Unborn Marionette" variant of the howlbomb on various legendary pets. However, against TToT it's a bit meh because it requires to endure two corruptions.
I was going to face Dreadwalker (Mech on steroids) so my third pet was Phoenix Hatchling instead of a popular "tank".

And what? In the backline, as the last pet, there was a rat. And it was not an ordinary rat -- a blue rat!
Such a perfect opponent against undead type or elemental attacks, eh?
Not calling my entire log, my last round consisted of already damned Val'kyr against rat being something between 400 and 500 HP. I knew that I need a crit.

[[ability]Shadow Slash[/ability]] dealt 548 damage to enemy [pet]Rat[/pet] (Critical).

Where is my support for an undead nerf now?!

I knew I was rostered on with someone who is always, always late. It would have been super bad if no one was there to open. And just as well I went cause there was a surprise training session on involving managers from across the state. I walked right into it.

Just 1 win... All I needed was just 1 more win.....

Can't recall all details, but one had [ability]Dive[/ability]. If it had done so after the Owl had used [ability]Lift-Off[/ability], I'd definitely have lost it.
Finally, I had more luck than I was expecting, besides the fel-touched pet supplies after that.

Also, the pet abilities can still be rerolled by forfeiting, but I was too busy making a screenshot for taking that into consideration.

I guess that was a bad "that moment when" for a person from random PvP. They had a triple [ability]Decoy[/ability] team.
And while I almost never use [pet]Bone Serpent[/pet], that time I brought this one!

It's bird day, and after having a little cry over what once was, you send in your Nexus Whelpling with Arcane Storm and Mana Surge.

And he doesn't get a single crit.

And dies.

And you're left scratching your head and thankful for the Azure whelpling on your team.
