I felt the same when I got my dinosaur pet and saw the 1000 wins achievement. I still have not mustered the will to go on for that. I am waiting for them to add more incentive to do pvp pet battles. As it stands now I just do the wins for the pet stone for pet battle week. Congrats on the 1000.

Congratulations on your achievement and title, Biscuit!
I don't have the strength to get to 1000, or to enter the queue at all these days.
I don't think I need extrinsic incentive like more rewards; I'd need the game to be interesting. I see the US Pet Battle Forum group recently did a competition with wild pets only. That would enliven PvP some.
