Many thanks to [profile]Liopleurodon[/profile] for writing the battling portion of our newest feature, [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/news/terky-pet-of-the-month-november-2015/]Pet of the Month[/url]. Here are some additional points on [pet]Terky[/pet] that she wanted to share!
How Do You Use Your Terky?
Terky is an odd duck. Odd murloc? As a murloc pet, her moves are fairly unique, and her moves are thought out well and complementary.
[ability] Stampede[/ability] in particular is usually a big winner for PVE. The thing is, unlike our characters, which have braved many a dragon, there are really few dragonkin encounters our pets have to face, making Terky a key without a lock at this point. The lone exception is Yu'la, but her [ability]Emerald Presence[/ability] takes the teeth out of Terky's most potent offense. I am hopeful we'll see an encounter soon that will let her shine.
Her [ability]Clobber[/ability] and [ability]Acid Touch[/ability] make her alright as a filler in PVP. You could combo [ability]Lucky Dance[/ability] with a low accuracy ability like [ability]Haymaker[/ability], but that combo is a lot more useful on a stronger pet like the [pet]Junglebeak[/pet].
As it stands now, Terky's most defining trait is that she's a murloc that's attainable by pretty much everyone who plays, and that's a pretty big deal.
The only pets with identical movesets are her reskinned counterparts. We've heard a few hints that we may perhaps see a few of these other murlocs in game soon (a good bet may be [pet]Murki[/pet], who was only available through a Korean fansite promotion) but luckily, these tiny murlocs are largely interchangeable. Murki and [pet]Lurky[/pet] even share Terky's stats. [pet]Gurky[/pet] and [pet]Murky[/pet] are slightly different, with 1481 health to Terky's 1546, and 276 in Speed and Power to Terky's 273.
So how do you plan on using your Terky? Are you excited to see a murloc commonly available in game, or sad it lost its exclusive edge?
