Known Pet Battle Issues - Health Regen When Leveling

Post by Bellaryl » April 28th, 2015, 12:51 pm

Hi everyone! Just thought I’d share the following experience and what a Blizzard GM told me.

So, I am leveling up my alts in Draenor by doing pet battles. Not only does it level up my toons, but I also can level up my pets AND work on the Draenor Pet Battler achievement at the same time. After the realm restarts today, however, I noticed that whenever my pets leveled up, they wouldn’t be healed to full, even though the combat log said they had been. That means that after leveling, my lowbie pet would only have whatever health was left over from the previous fight. This is not consistent, either. Some levels, my carry pet is healed to full. Some levels not. I can’t seem to figure out what triggers it.

I contacted Blizzard about this, and received a quick response. Apparently this is a common issue happening today to a lot of battlers, and they’re not really sure why it’s happening. They suggested that I let my fellow battlers know about the issue so here I am. The GM also asked that if you experience the same thing to please put in a bug report immediately so they can get more data on the issue.

Just thought I’d share with my favorite pet community. If you’re experiencing this issue, please know you’re not alone. And please report it to Blizzard so they can fix it!

I've had this happen to me, but it's SO hit or miss. I'm going to say for me that it happens maybe once out of every 50 pet battles. It's annoying that I have to go and blow my heal CD or use a bandage (though I have a metric ton of them) but it hasn't been a regular thing at all for me, so I kind of frown, snort, heal and move on. What you're describing is more consistent though. :/
