Wild pets made easier?

Just caught the latest update to battle pet breedid:

Added calculation support for a new aspect of WoD Pet Battles - Wild pets now have a 25% reduced Power stat.
Additionally, adjusted calculation weights when determining breed so that HP differences are now valued equally with Power and Speed differences (instead of being worth 5x as much).

Whats up with this? Not like wild pets was that much of a challenge.

Interesting... it might be a good thing though. Like you said wild battles were already not difficult, but they weren't really meant to be. But what gets a little hard especially for newer battlers I think is finding the need to heal frequently, when they don't have a huge stock of bandages and maybe don't have a good amount of self healing pets.

Also, I think we've all had a situation where we're trying to capture some rare wild pet, and the trap just doesn't seem to want to land, and our team is getting more and more beaten up and it's too late to forfeit. Anything that might help reduce the chances of that heartbreaking scenario is a good thing, I think.
