Hey guys, had a lot of fun today finally posting this team! Seems like every time they came around I was on the road and not able to play =(. I liked this fight a lot because I got to burn the back group long before they ever got into the fight.

Team: [pet]Harbinger of Flame[/pet], [pet]Pandaren Fire Spirit[/pet], and [pet]Lava Crab[/pet]. I tried a few others like Lil' Ragnaros but this was the best setup for this style of engagement. Also, you CAN solo this fight with [pet]Blossoming Ancient[/pet] or a [ability]Ruby Droplet[/ability], but it takes forever!

You can also solo it with some good RNG with the [pet]Teroclaw Hatchling[/pet]. But he makes quick work of the first two pets! and some into the third. The speed switch is hard to time to the dodge.

Start with Harbinger, and use [ability]Impale[/ability]. This will bring bling down 1/4 life or so and set the tempo for the fight. Afterwards, its [ability]Magma Wave[/ability] spam till harbinger is dead. On the switch bring in the fire spirit. Start with [ability]Cauterize[/ability], this will set the cool down ticking and recoup any damage she takes from the start. Now its just Magma Wave spam, keeping Cauterize on cool down. when bling enters 1/4 life range, he will pop [ability]Armageddon[/ability], it will bring the spirit low, but not enough to kill it. When Protectron enters he will use [ability]Ion Cannon[/ability] and kill the fire spirit. On the switch, bring in the Lava Crab. Protectron will be recovering so just spam [ability]Burn[/ability] till hes down. When the second Protectron comes in, use cauterize to negate the Ion cannon. Afterwards, just spam Burn, GG!

[pet]Blossoming Ancient[/pet] tactic : [ability]Sunlight[/ability], [ability]Photosynthesis[/ability], [ability]Poisoned Branch[/ability] spam. Keep photo up and Sunlight on cool down. win 10 minutes later.

[pet]Ruby Droplet[/pet] tactic: [ability]Bubble[/ability], [ability]Drain Blood[/ability], [ability]Absorb[/ability] spam. Keep Drain blood and Bubble on cool down and spam Absorb. Win 12 Minutes later.

Thanks for the feedback. I have all 3 of those guys but none near 25 but I'll work on getting them leveled for next time this trio comes around. It's almost embarrassing how I managed to kill today's battle but somehow it worked but I'm still scratching my head at the pure luck of how it all fell into place.

I used the following:

Chrominius
Unborn Val'kyr
Iron Starlette

Chromy was good with the Howl/Ravage combo and survived that final ball of fire that drop long enough to get a hit into pet #2.

Unborn Val'kyr I started with a Curse of Doom then Shadow Shock until my first death. I usually got the 2nd pet down close to its' death and get this - upon my Valk's rez I was hit with Ion Cannon - talk about luck. I hit back with Unholy Ascension and then to my 3rd pet knowing I had 2 hits before they could strike back.

Iron Starlette came in I had to use a hit of Toxic Smoke to clear out Pet #2 (and they are still in recover) then Wind-up-Wind-up. That didn't kill Pet #3 but by then I was hit with their Ion Cannon which killed my Starlette the first time but lucky me their pet had 2 rounds of recovery. One hit of Toxic Smoke and it was all done.

It was pure luck and sometimes it's fun trying strange combos on these pet dailies although I prefer it when I can use them for power leveling.

This group can definitely be tricky for people new to pet battling, as the debuff throws off what your used to. " Wait a sec, that's a mechanical, why are my attacks weak against it!! I have my mech killer right here!" I love the Val'kyr ability to up the damage on the entire opposing team, and not be sacked to 5 rounds like all the other 9 round debuffs were.

I thank my lucky stars the day I stumbled upon an Unborn Val'kyr. I have farmed forever for so many other pets with no luck - farmed to the point that I built a dang DK on an Oceanic server just to get my Minfernal. (yes it worked too but only if you are not normally an Oceanic player). And even after the luck of finding an Unborn Val'kyr (which was a crappy junk level), I just happened to have an Undead Battle Stone in my bank (this was before WoD).

She's my lucky pet. I think we all have our lucky pet story, mine is with Lucky Valentine!

So i didn't have the Lava crab leveled up so i had to find something else that would work for me. I ended up using [pet]Molten Corgi[/pet] with flamethrower, cauterize, and puppies of the flame. Flamethrower first, then cauterize, flamethrower, puppies of the flame, and then was able to finish in 2 rounds with flamethrower. Not sure if he works better than the crab but is a good option.

Todays team was [pet]Harbinger of Flame[/pet], [pet]Pandaren Fire Spirit[/pet], and [pet]Mr. Bigglesworth[/pet].

I started with [ability]Impale[/ability], that sets the tempo for [ability]Magma Wave[/ability] spam. From there its wave till harbinger goes down. On the swap bring in the Fire Spirit, use [ability]Cauterize[/ability] first, this will balance any incoming damage and bring you back to full health. From here its Wave spam wave until cauterize is back up. Use it once more then back to wave spam. When Bling gets under 1/4 health, about 400 or so, he will pop [ability]Armageddon[/ability]. Once the first protector swaps in, try for another wave. He will be so low he will start with [ability]Ion Cannon[/ability], killing the Spirit but soaking the cannon. When Biggles enters, use Pounce till the protector is dead. as he is S/S he wont take any damage. On the second protector, use Ice Barrier. THis will negate the second Ion Cannon, then just spam Pounce to glad =).

It requires a Sapphire Cub and an Electrified Razortooth, but it works pretty well and 6.1 and the XP nerf (in theory) could be anytime.
