2 pet Christoph VonFeasel anyone?

I've searched for some 2 pet strats for this new boss.

However, all the strats I found, I don't have the pets for (atleast not at level 25).... Until I saw that MPD/Tonk combo can 2 pet him... However, whoever did it, didn't reveal strategy.

So, can anyone here, concoct a working 2 pet (plus carry) that works, using these pets?

I have tried myself, but hit a brick wall..

There's two threads in this forum with a couple of 2-pet strats for him.

http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/f ... =3&t=11719
http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/f ... 2&start=20

Have you looked at those, or are you saying you don't have the pets for them?

Yes, I have seen those threads and many more..
But they fall under the category of teams I don't have the pets for, hence why I asked specifically about MPD/Tonk combo..

I was able to two pet him with MPD/Tonk. I had an Iron Starlette as my 3rd, but never got to him. I may have just gotten lucky though. My strategy was:
Round 1 - Bombing Run
Round 2 - Breath (He bubbled, so no hit)
Round 3 - Decoy (to block Whirlpool)
Spam Breath till Syd dies (Bombing Run lands at some point).
MPD was still alive for the next pet. I led with another Bombing Run, and then MPD died.
Tonk next. Started with Shock And Awe, which stunned him. Christoph swapped to the Cow.
Spam Missile until Cow died (Bombing Run landed at some point here).
Spam Missile on last pet until Shock And Awe is off cooldown. Used Ion Cannon to finish off last pet.

Like I said, I may have gotten lucky. I'm not sure if the stun helped. But it does give that free round when he swaps so I'd assume it did play a factor.

The stun comes close to two free rounds, because of a back-lined Trihorn Shield.
But you might still be able to kill it without the Stun.

The stun is probably required, because I cannot get cow lower thann 1200ish HP :(

What about using your warbot instead of the tonk? The -50% damage taken should keep him alive long enough to do some serious damage I would think.

I two manned him today with a Scourged Whelpling (Tail Sweep, D&D, Plagued Blood) and a Mechanical Squirrel (Metal Fist, Armor Plate, Wind Up).

I really really appeciate all the suggestions to 2pet teams, but for some reason, I seem to be missing one or both pets (at level 25) in all of them..
I'm a slow leveller (since my only buff is the hat) and don't even do all tamers on a daily basis..

Maybe, it would be helpful, if I linked my pets --> http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/draenor/Raluf/pet#status=is-collected

If you are willing to level up your cogblade raptor using 4 other tamer battles (with just a safari hat...less if you use buffs) and you don't mind using a high level carry pet until you get a better team, then you could use Pattiford's Elikk carry and use the high level carry in place of it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hm2qf-dTtQ&feature=youtu.be

Mr. Point can do 800-1000 damage in those two rounds, so safest bet is to pick a 1000+ health pet, but you could try and squeeze in an 800-999 pet or a pet with 400 health + deflection/feign

If you are just one pet shy of another team you like better, it only takes 6 Pandaria tamer 2 pet battels (assuming only a safari hat) to go from 1-25. That's doable in 15 minutes if you have good teams for those tamers but still probably less than hour if not.

I know not optimal, but I didn't see any combination of pets in your stable that jumped out at me.

Just popping in here to give mad props to Gardenvariety -- when I read his idea of a Scourged Whelp & Mechanical Squirrel, I immediately saw the potential, tried it, and it's the most solid 2 pet team I've used yet. Wonderful job!!

I made a video here: [url=http://youtu.be/NEnZxG17rLA]Murloc Harbor - Christoph Von Feasel[/url]

Super easy and super solid strat! Thanks Garden!

Been trying a lot of all these recommened teams/strats yesterday, liked some of the ideas so my actual XP carry looks like this http://youtu.be/isMh0go1hKo

Team:

1. [pet]Fossilized Hatchling[/pet] ([ability]Bone Bite[/ability], [ability]Death and Decay[/ability], [ability]BONESTORM[/ability])
2. Carry Pet (can be Level 1)
3. [pet]Mechanical Squirrel[/pet] ([ability]Metal Fist[/ability], [ability]Extra Plating[/ability], [ability]Wind-Up[/ability])

I'm using pets with only 1 existing breed, so if you have 'em at max-level and rare... you can do it. And I wanted to see how it works with fixed numbers for all attacks, so I'm not using attacks with damage range like Claw for the Fossilized Hatchling. I think there was no critical hit in this fight, so that's what I'm using:
  • Bone Bite
  • Death and Decay
  • BONESTORM
  • Bone Bite
  • Bone Bite
  • Bone Bite (Hatchling will trigger Damned here)
  • BONESTORM (Syd dies)
  • Choose Level Pet
  • Swap Mechanical Squirrel
  • Extra Plating
  • Wind-Up
  • Metal Fist
  • Wind-Up (Mr. Pointy dies)
  • Wind-Up
  • Extra Plating
  • Metal Fist
  • Metal Fist
  • Wind-Up

I used this strategy to good effect however, you can get RNG problems, and your carry pet will need to be over level 20. But these are pretty common pets so most people should have them.

Voodoo Figurine
Flame Breath repeatedly
Purge when a whirlpool is put down

You'll probably die but will get two more turns and at least one flame off on Mr. Pointy.

Blue Clockwork Rocket Bot (S/S)
Lead with Sticky Grenade
Missle until you are about 400 health
Minefield

You should have time to cast Grenade on Otto the cow before the rocket bot dies. The minefield will take quite a bit off health off the cow when it swaps in.

Carry Pet
Do whatever high damage move you've got to bring the cow down to around 600 health in three moves. Use a heal or block if you've got it once the cow is low enough health. You just have to survive until the grenade goes off.

I've had a lot of success with a double XT setup. I know that involves a TCG and a Store pet so it may not be the most feasible for the average battler but it's an incredibly simple setup. Best used on mid-level carries when you just want to get in and out quickly.

Start with your carry.

Round 1: Any single-round attack
Round 2: Swap for XT
Round 3: Heartbroken
Round 4: Tympanic Tantrum

You'll likely die in the middle of Tantrum only to be revived and finish it off. Once your first XT dies, bring in the 2nd and repeat steps 3 & 4.

Half the time, the backline pets would die before Syd and if not, the Cow only had a very small amount of HP left and the carry could finish it off easily.
