This guide is about leveling New Pets from 1 to 25 in max 12 battles using a Fixed Team.

READ FIRST
- Following this guide, you can max-level 2 new pets a day, through the A-ROUTE and B-ROUTE.
- You are required to have 2 specific pets at max level: 1 Anubisath Idol (25) and 1 Sunreaver Micro Sentry (25).
- The strategy is based on Pandaria Tamers & Spirits: you need to have access to them before starting.
- Read the Guide before any battle to know what pet goes first and the abilities to use.
- Remember that the 1st pet in your team list is the first pet to go on the field.
- While leveling, watch for your new pet abilities: they can be useful in battle.
- When your new pet is on the field, do not use multirounds or recharging abilities (like Stampede or Solar Beam).
- This Guide does not take "MISS" and "LUCK" into account, so it can't be 100% accurate ;)
- Using "Revive Battle Pets" and "Battle Pet Bandages" is mandatory for a faster pace.
- At the end of the day, it will remain an optional battle against the Thundering Pandaren Spirit (Kun-Lai Summit).

THE TEAM
Anubisath Idol (lvl 25) - Crush/Demolish, Sandstorm, Deflection

New Pet - Any Ability -> Change Pet
You don't really need that <Any Ability> for your pet to receive XP.
Only when you change pet because your previous pet has died, or when you start with the leveling pet, then you need to do an ability.

You don't need to do an ability in the case where the previous pet died. Simply choose the carry pet and swap out immediately. You still get EXP. You only need to use an ability if you start with the pet. That's it.

Tested this out with level 10 pets, gain 5-6 levels with the carries per Tamer/Spirit. Only difficulty spot was with Mo'ruk which was warned might be an issue. There is an addon from curse that allows you to see rival team abilities and cooldowns yet I cannot remember the name of it, if someone would be kind enough to post it or link to it I think it would help out followers of this guide.

Hi Druzy,

the addon is the aptly named Pokémon :) Useful, I use it and it's pretty decent.

Cheers.

Oh, usually when a pet dies I choose the one I want to use next, so it wasn't natural to me to swap it out immediately :)
However, in this guide the timing for the abilities takes into account also that "Any Ability" turn, so if you wanna swap the leveling pet, remember to adapt your strategy to manage it.
As a final note, don't worry if your pet starts at lvl 1 and stays on the field casting "Any Ability" for a turn, cause Trainers list is compiled tanking into account your pet HP and the enemies AOE abilities, too.

Thanks for your replies! :D
