Get on docs.google.com and share it out with those that you want to edit the spreadsheet with. Lot less messing about with emailing and such.

You guys sound far more dedicated to this than I am. I just thought mentioning google docs might be beneficial for what you are trying to do. I can probably explain a few things with that for you, but filling out all the stats for ~ 600pets x ~ 5breeds each is a bit much for me.

I guess my biggest question would be what exactly are you hoping to accomplish with the spreadsheet that isn't already available or someplace else like WoWhead or petsear.ch? Wowhead already allows you to see stats for breeds that aren't available in game for example.
