Current Count: Rotten Helper = 3/2 ;; Lumpy = 1/2. (Need 2 of Each for my Wife and I)

My wife and I need both the Helper and Lumpy. Lumpy has evaded us every year so far since it became available. This year we started by using 3 alts each and now we're using all 7... Counts are the total amount of presents we've opened combined.

On 7 toons .... got one on my 56th attempt (last toon yesterday).

None from presents under the tree today so not sure anyone can count on those.

I did get a 2nd one from todays dailies though

You cannot get him from the present under the tree today: Green Helper, Red Helper, Reindeer or Snowman only. Up to 80 tries now.

i dont have the impressive stable of alts some people seem to have, or the patience to do it on everyone every day, but i'm at 21 tries total now (i guess he doesn't drop from the pet-present under the tree, so not counting those) and I still havent seen this illusive critter. Whats even worse, is that i haven't seen any on the AH on my realm either, slowly evaporating my hope of getting one cheap that way. and then this happened:

*guildy who rarely plays anymore logs on* hey everyone, merry christmas! we greet back, he goes and does the daily, because five minutes later he gets [on metzen] together with the achieve for this years present under the tree. guildy: oh hey, rotten little helper box. nice. guess it has a pretty decent droprate after all. great, now i don't have to play the rest of winterveil *logs off* me and other pet collector in guild were just like O______O.....

Got lucky today got one from the daily. Admittedly, I haven't done it too many times. I've maybe completed the daily (across my alts) a grand total of 9 or 10 times.

Day 10: 3/80

first gift today was a Rotten, 3rd gift was a Rotten and a Clockwork, 7th one was a Rotten as well. So got 3 all today on Christmas... wonder if it was a coincidence. Anyways, I might post how many I end up with when the event is all done, but for now I wont be updating any further dates. Good Luck all on your pets!

Finally got Lumpy this year after trying to find it "a few" times! \o/

No rotten little dude yet, though. This year alone I've looted the dagger 3 times.

Quickly counting, this years attempts for Lumpy were 1 out of 36 or somewhere along that ballpark.

Doing the daily every day with at least 5 alts, 8 when I have the time.
1 dagger, 2 Clockworks, 6 Lumpys, 0 rotten helper.
Please send help.

I haven't had any luck either nor stable of alts to help. I was already checking on my realm to see if anyone was doing any trading ....so discouraging

0/62 ive had 4 lumpys drop along with 8 clockwork robots and one dagger, but no rotten helper yet =(

Day 10 (I missed the first day) ... 1 of 90. I still technically have never gotten the drop, but the g/f got an extra one on the 4th of her 5 characters. All told, out of the two of us running between 4 and 12 characters a day, I only got one [pet]Lumpy [/pet] and now this Helper. I assumed the market would get more crowded and the price drop, but it appears that, at least on the couple of servers I check, he's actually getting more scarce on the AH and the price is going up. Demand is definitely outlasting supply.

I'm still going to try to run it with the 7 characters available to me, both because of the value and because I still feel like *I* need to get the dang thing :p.

Didn't realize it was such a rare drop that the first week or so I was only using my main. After getting nothing I read up on it and have been using all 11 of my characters each of the last 3 days with no luck. I did get a Clockwork but I already had one. I need Lumpy and Rotten. Must be 0/40 or so. Good news is we still have like 5 or 6 more days to try.

I was sure I would never see a rotten, with my rotten luck. However I just got a second one... and still no lumpy!

Tell you the truth I want lumpy more than the rotten helper.

If I don't get lumpy I guess I'll end up selling the other rotten and using part of the sale to buy lumpy. The sad thing is that there were several lumpies on AH for around 500g last week. Now they're all a couple thousand gold. I didn't buy one when they were low because I've been holding out on getting one from the grinch package.

(Edit1: Just got another rotten helper today. That makes 3. STILL NO LUMPY!)

Darn, I was going to offer a trade! I got 5 lumpy but only one helper so far.

I HATE you Seriously I didn't think the rotten little helper dropped on bonechewer until I saw 2 on AH for insane money...here's to hoping one will drop for me...besides freakin trash !!

Only have one toon, fourth day gave my Lumpy, fifth day (where I flew in, spoke to Metzen and looted) gave me the helper. Then a Flawless stone dropped when I was levelling new pets by Dire Maul. Hooray!

Next stop: Lunar Festival!

Amusing how despite the express wishes of the OP a substantive number of people just seem incapable not to gloat at their own performance. At this point, I just don’t know if it is trolling, egotism or if these people are so entranced with themselves they didn’t even read the OP.

Alrighty then, day 15, between 125 and 135 attemps (every day, on 6 to 9 alts, sorry if I can't be more precise), still nothing.
Funny thing, there are 5 or 6 on the AH alliance side, nothing horde side.
I'm feeling a tad antsy.

It took 14 days and 31 stolen presents.

I missed the first couple of days of dailies as I didn't realize the pet would be dropping from them. My RNG was so bad with Lumpy I honestly never wanted to see the Abominable Greench again.
