Best cost for one RAF pet / mount

Could someone give me an idea of the actual cost to sucessful get a RAF pet / mount?

In cash.

In gold.

Just trying to figure out the value so I can aquire the properly valued pets to make the trades.

I heard of a way.
Go to Best Buy now during seasonal sale and get a WoW game for 5 bucks and a game card for two months game time for 30 dollars.
Send youself an invite as a RaF. Activate the invite as a second account. Use the WoW game to upgrade the account to active. Use the game card on your second account. Your first account then gets a 15 dollar credit and reward of your choice.
Total cost 20 bucks per reward after you figure in one month free game time.
Rinse and repeat for more mounts and pets.
Haven't done it myself, trying to quit the game.

I generally try to trade for anything outside of the game with ingame currency / liquid currency as I don't like to spend real money on it. Been fairly sucessful thus far, though some things are out of reach.

Trading for this sort of thing in game will require faith on one side or the other, generally something I don't have for strangers in MMO games.

Burn me once shame on the other person.

So yeah been once burned on deals like this, probably a decade ago now, in another MMO. So unless there is a 100% safe way to trade it in game I won't do it. If I can't afford the pets outside of the game I just don't get them. plain and simple.

I've found all transactions ive down over on the US Pet Trading forums have been 100% sucessful. You just have to do the deal with someone of legitimate reputation.

you do understand, that it's a bannable offence, right?

ToS specifically states, that you are not allowed to trade in-game stuff for out-of-game stuff..
E.g. Gold for code, money for pet etc..

However, money for code and gold for pet is allowed..

Check the US pet trading forums on this website. It is allowed here and there is a tremendous market for it.

Target had a huge security breach with its credit cards. As a result, people have been really PO'd and Target is trying to make up for the huge mistake. They have had a 10% off EVERYTHING sale this weekend. The sale is only available over the weekend so today is the last day to benefit from it. The normal $35 for the RAF combo would be $31.50 per. Every little bit helps, just thought I would mention this to anyone that is looking to shave off a few bucks.
