It looks like people with the virtual ticket will recieve him when 5.4.1 goes live.

One saying they already got their D3 achievement and rewards.

As awesome as that would be, I will believe it when I see it.

That would be fantastic! Though I am reluctant to get excited just yet. Not sure why this year's Blizzcon pet would be released differently than all previous years. The D3 achievements/reward notice is making me hopeful, however I hope it means ticket holders get theirs too, I would feel bad for them to all have spent all that money only to be held hostage while we glory in the cutie!

1) D3 items already went out. Got mine a couple of weeks ago now.

2) Would not be a surprise if the virtual ticket people got theirs first. I had to see everyone who got the "digital" collector edition of mists get to have the mount and pet while I had to wait to get mine when I could get to the launch event and get my actual disc and install it.

So if the pet does go out today then good. I'll have fun playing with it and then marking it off my list here as being owned. Besides, it would be the perfect hype builder. Anyone who does not have the virtual ticket at this point and sees the pet might be tempted to get it if only for said pet. Have fun at Blizzcon all attending. I'll be watching on my computer. *waves*

I had not thought of the advertising angle...you devious and cynical smartie!
It would even likely entice some attendees to buy the VT as well...not like you can't make great trades/money with the Pet Code from the goodie bag!

Can someone from the US confirm if they got the pet or not?? ^^

Mmo-champion posts on the front page that the Blizzcon pet item will indeed be out with today's patch, as well as the updated RAF system!!!

I don't think I got my Murkablo till they day of Blizzcon, even though I got the ticket a day before. So I would expect virtual ticket people to get Murkalot Nov 8 now that he is in game.

Unfortunately Murkalot was only added to the Pet Journal in this mini-patch, and he hasn't been released yet. We'll probably have to wait until the weekend of Blizzcon to receive our new murloc friend.

That being said, I'm going to edit and lock this thread to avoid causing any confusion.

Murkalot may have been implemented with this patch, but he won't be collectible until BlizzCon.
