Qiraji Guardling should never have been put as a requirement for the safari achievement. Blizzard essentially ensured folks will have to wait till next summer before they can complete the meta for it.

Why are people complaining about this? I saw people trying to get the Qiraji Guardling / Snowy Owl off of required pets for Kalimdor Safari on the Blizz forums and it doesn't make sense to me...Zenbuddhist wrote:Qiraji Guardling should never have been put as a requirement for the safari achievement. Noone was complaining about Raw Summer Bass / Winter Squid being required for Oceanographer, and those fish work in exactly the same way as the pets. Everyone just *waited* for the season to come around and then caught the required fish. Now people are out with torches and pitchforks because they did the same thing with battle pets? Last time I checked, there was nothing wrong with delayed gratification. *sigh*
Sorry... Don't mean to rant. Especially at you, Zenbuddist. Just you're post reminded me of the thread I was reading the other day.
