Hi,

i did not know exactly how i should describe the subject i am looking for. At the moment i level up my pets to level 23.1 and than use the pandaran trainer dailies to get the the pets to level 25 in one fight.

With 25% food and the 10% hat i get 3780 exp for one fight.

Now comes my questions. At which pet level i will get enough exp (with 25% food and 10% hat) to raise the pet level to 23.1? Somewhere i read level 17 but i did not tested it yet.

Also would be interesting the "magic steps". Let's says if i use a level 1 pet on the daily it will raise to 12 than 17 than 23 than 25...

Would be great if someone has the exact numbers. Hopefully the choosen subject named it correctly.

To big "Ifs" here but if I'm reading your question correctly and if the data in my excel sheet is right here are you magic steps.

To hit 25 with no wasted exp you need to have
L23 with 120 exp
L20 with 481 exp
L16 with 280 exp
L9 with 566 exp

L1 with 0 exp will exceed the L9/566 level after winning a trainer pet battle.

Great, this is exactly which i was looking for. Thanks for this. May i ask what excel sheet you use?

I have one I created with about a dozen tabs of miscellaneous pet battle data that I've wanted to record since I started collecting pets.

Stuff like Unborn Val'kyr locations, batle-stones I have and need to update all my non-rares to rare and number of each family that need updating (no, I don't upgrade as I go, I am my own kind of "special") and a table of experience for each level plus exp gained from the top level trainers for 0%, 10% and 35%. The Breed Str/Weak table but instead of for [url=http://cdn.warcraftpets.com/images/pet-battles/wow-pet-battles-cheat-sheet.v8271.gif]"Your Pet"[/url] it's for "Your Target" because like I said, I'm my own kind of "Special"

Now, what about if I wanted to bring two carry pets?

Exp is split between them, and only few tamers can be soloed.

That's my personal spreadsheet playground for leveling. You can find these 'magic' numbers in the Sheet4 (you can select that in the bottom of the page), with every combination of buffs/trainers by manipulating the cells in the shadowed area. Be aware, though: it's far from well written/formatted, but it does the trick.

When I choose 2 carry pets (level 24, hat, lesser treat) it returns 990.5 XP each, but I get more than that from the battle. Am I doing something wrong?

I've been messing with that in the past few days, so you might have downloaded a half-baked file. Also, make sure both carries are of the same level: I'm not entirely sure how it computes/distributes xp otherwise.

note: when distributing XP, I'm not sure where is rounding applied (before/after/both distribution). If I chose wrongly, you may see xp gains off by 1point.
