How do I create the hyperlinked pet names?

Obviously, just wrapping the link or pet name with the bracket thingie is not the answer. Sorry- any technology more complicated than a waffle iron frightens, confuses, and angers me.

1: go to the warcraftpets.com page for the pet
2: copy the url for that page
3: hit the URL button above the post entry window
4: in the first [ url ] bracket thing, right after the "url" (but before the closing bracket) type = and then paste the copied url
5: between the [ url ] and the [ /url ] , type the name of the pet, or whatever you want the text to say
6: ?
7: [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tO5sxLapAts]profit[/url]

bonus: URL = Uniform Resource Locator, it's the page address

apparently it auto-links to the pet's page if you type the pet's name between the [ pet ] and the [ /pet ]

Or you click on the "pet" button when composing a message which adds a "[pet]" "[/pet]" pair and you type the pets name between them.
