Hi all I have a question. I have mostly played Horde so I already have the Horde Guild Herald and Page. I started an alliance toon and have access to the guild page just need to buy it. As for the Alliance Herald my guild at the moment is a bit far away from getting that. But it looks like I need to get that too, as it looks like I am missing those 2 pets on my Alliance toon.

Also do I get credit for the Alliance Herald and Page even on my horde toon, since it's my horde toon that I pull the pets from to update this site.

Is my thinking correct?

As far as WarcraftPets importing is concerned, you'll get credit for both. Probably not in-game for achievement counts and stuff tho.

You do get credit on websites for both sets. Your journal won't count both on one toon. So your journal may say 550, but WCP will say 552 for example.

Related: Also of note with the Boomkins, you get credit for both. You have to lvl them up with the appropriate faction however fun times

Just as a further point, you will only see them in the pet journal on the toons you've purchased them on, so even if your main has both herald and page, your alts (even same server and same faction) will see them greyed out until they purchase them.

No they need to be purchased on each alt to use them. I've had guild exalted alts who couldn't summon them until I bought them.

Lovely, pets that aren't account shared, whats up with that. So if you want them in rare quality, you need to stone on all your chars, and since you can't use other peoples stones you need to stone them yourselves. Opposite faction alts will have to be on same realm aswell in order to send BoA stones over.

Yes, you've basically summed it up! Also true of argent squire as well it seems - only the characters with the pony bridle will get the upgraded version too.
