Seems it could take a while to complete if you have to face 7 opponents. Will be interesting to see if theres any limitation between the individual fights and the stages. If you have opportunity to heal/change abilities/pets.

If its limited in any way, and having to face multiple opponents, then pets with high staying power would be prefered I believe.

According to the Emperor Shaohao voice files, you are not allowed to heal between fights.

Interesting. Then it would -DEFINITELY- favor high staying power pets!

A P/P Emerald Proto Whelp seems a must have then. Any suggestions for additional durable pets?

The idol, of course.

But I imagine you'll get to pick X number of pets maybe, so they don't limit you to that many tamers with just 3 pets.

Going from what we know about the Celestials. 1x Flying, 2x Beasts and 1x Dragonkin. I think Son of Animus would be a good choice for a quite durable pet to abuse the beasts. The aforementioned Emerald Proto Whelp and finally Anubisath Idol for the flyer and dragonkin pets. The trio is durable and have bonuses against all the celestials.
