As far as I've heard they've removed Tyrannicus again in favour of doing Murkimus again this year.

I would be more than interested if anyone wanna make a team for the pet.

Do you have a link to an official source on this? Or is this just the rumor floating around? Would love to know if the reward will be the new pet or the same one before I sign up.

Edit 2: Look in the pet list. Murkimus Tyrannicus is gone. There is only Murkimus the gladiator now.

could someone twit Corey or one of the other Blizzard peeps to ask what the pet will be?

I'm not speaking with any autority here, but this is the first Arena Tournamnet since pet battles went live. I *think* there will be a swell of new pet completionists wanting Murkimus. To couple this with retiring the pet would have led to an outcry from the community.

But now we know there's a new gladiator planned, we're all fair warned that this may be our last chance on the original.

That makes a lot of sense. And I'm definately hoping thats how it'll go.

lots of replies since last night. I guess my questions is of all the replies who hasnt found a team yet? And for clarification, I am on US servers. Alliance side now if people actually wanted to run some arenas pre tournament.

I'm also interested. EU-alliance. Have no idea how all of this works but I know it cost money so I want to be sure I can actually do this and I defintely need a bit of explanation of this arena thing.

I have paid for this every year and my teams always fail to get me the pet...

I will be up for losing 100 battles in a row as long as I get the pet...

I would be interested in finding a team for this one as well.
I mostly play daytime (9am-3pm est) but can be flexible if need be. I can't miss out on murkimus again

To clarify, since I haven't seen this stated outright yet: If it's like the first year when I got mine, you do not need to be geared, as you make an entirely new character on the tournament realms. You pick a class and a race and it starts at level cap with access to free gear and chants/glyphs/gems to kit your toon out with. Matches count win or lose.

If a team still need a teammate, i will be happy to have a chance on this pet.
Dont expect in me the best pvper in the world, but i will not run naken in circle for sure

It seems Doobjanka made a couple stickied arena pass posts after I made this one so we ought to flock to them.
