Lets all beg Blizzard for something to actually do with these! And..I have an idea! A pet, purchasable with 9999 polished battle-stones, I've even designed the pet! I posted this on blizzard forums too, hopefully they might be interested or at least come up with something else to do with them ;p


Polished Stone Amalgamation
Elemental
Formed from the crushing pressure of huge mounds of forgotten Polished Battle-Stones, this elemental rages at it's neglect from society and vows revenge on all pets!

1 Stone Rush -slams into the enemy, dealing x damage to them and x damage to thenselves
2 Stockpile - throws excess battle-stones into a heap behind which he hides, blocking 2 attacks
3 Upgrade! -absorb the powers contained in the condensed battle-stones, increasing damage by 25% for 5 rounds, 9 round cd
4 Hurl - throws a battle-stone at the enemy, dealing x damage to them and reducing their speed by 25% as they pick it up and check if it's for their pet family
5 Stone Storrrmmmm! - whirls violently, throwing off loose battle-stones in every direction, dealing x damage to all enemy pets, 3 round cd
6 Downgrade! -Decreases the enemies stats to Uncommon quality for 5 rounds, 9 round cd.

Hahah, that's acually pretty funny!

Look at Evolution, would be a good renamed version for upgrade.

Perhaps it should have an attack that does bonus damage to pets of higher rarity.

I never delete anything and I've deleted maybe 20 of those, so with my luck, they'll probably do something along those lines.

I enjoyed this post and would actually save these for a pet like that! I actually do use mine, basically to get rid of the last few poor/common pets I have left.

When I heard about the 2 different kinds of stones, I assumed (wrongly, of course) that only uncommon pets could be upgraded to rares. This made sense to me, as it would make both stones useful.

I did a search of these forums for Polished Battle Stone and found this post. Brilliant idea! They also have to make them account-bound rather than soulbound. I have them scattered on multiple characters...though I think I only have 4 total so far. I almost deleted them today because I have either uncommon or rare of every pet in my collection already. I have no use for these at all right now, but I will hold onto them, just in case Blizzard takes your suggestion!

I LOVED this. What a creative and fun idea. Too bad there wasn't a way to get this into the hands of someone at Blizz.

I got a good chuckle out of this, and support it wholeheartedly!
