It seems to be the one thing this site lacks, sure there are posts about such, but they lack images and I'm very visual, I can't see the name of something and go 'yeah got that'. I have to SEE it. As I am leveling up my top pets I'm also going all over the world hunting for ones I don't have. Already I have caught and farmed for several rares along the way but a pet listing by level would really come in handy so I'm not blinding going though each category to try and find pets in my level range to add to my collection.

A good idea. The in-game pet journal is crying out for this too.

There's an addon at Curse, I believe it's Pet Journal Enhanced, that lets you sort pets into more ways, like level or rarity.
