not had much chance to play around yet, but I wonder if anyone could answer a few questions...

1. If a tame/catch a wild pet on one character, will it be available for another character on the account to battle with?
2. similar question, does levelling up a pet level it up for all chars on the account?

Yes and yes! All of your pets are static now, and their levels will stay the same no matter what character you're on.

thanks! I thought that would be the case, it would make it hellishly difficult for Blizzard to maintain otherwise.

I have alts parked all over to catch rares like the baby ape xD
