Pets lost levels???

Anyone have a pet/pets lose levels lately? I KNOW I leveled my Phoenix Hawk Hatchling to 15, but now it's only level 1 again. Is this a bug, or do I need to start leveling him again from scratch?

Its got to be a bug; Pets only loose levels upon capturing them in the wild, or stoning them when they are above level 15. Phoenix hawk is a rare quality pet to start with AND a boss drop to boot, so neither of these would apply. I'd be prepared to re-level the pet, since blizzard likely won't be able to restore your phoenix hawk to 15.

Did you by chance trade one away and give away your leveled one instead?
