I was thinking, what will happen to him once the event, where it is obtained from, has ended? Does anyone have an idea? because, if it is going to be unobtainable, i'd strongly suggest to farm up as many of them as possible, instead of investing your Mojos in gear.

I don't see why the event has to even go away. I'm not convinced that it will.
It's all phased, after all. It can coexist with the normal Barrens forever.

I dont mind either way as long as the teleporter from the Shrine of the Seven Stars stays :p

i think i read somewhere that the event was only a limited time... but who knows if that means the pet will be unobtainable afterwards...

I read the same thing, I think in the patch notes, but there was no time limit mentioned.


As of this morning, these guys were under 2k on my server, horde side.

The 5.1 area event questline has run its course and been over for awhile and you can still obtain that pet and mount. I know blizz has said repeatedly they don't like removing items after all the rage following the Plagued Proto-Drake removal back in WOTLK. I wouldn't expect them to make such a minor item unobtainable. Especially a tradable one at that.

Though you never know. Ill have a few just to play it safe.

it could be like those launch event types where they remove it from the game after a month similar to AQ event or cata lead up event... it certainly wouldnt be the first time they make a pet unobtainable after a certain time... I mean there is the vampire batling though it is bop...

Most likely Breanna will sell it after 5.3 event ends.

i've got a hard time believing that the pet will become readily available at breanni's just like that. my belief is that it will either disappear or turn into some rare drop. even if the vendor would stay, we still would need mojos to get it, which is only obtainable through the quests. those are almost certain to go away.
