You could probably try the Effervescent Glowflies in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms as well; they travel in packs of three normally, and are 24-25 lvl; accompanied by aquatic or flying pets as there are only those two families in the vale for wild pets

You could try Mount Hyjal, it's a mix of moths squirrels and the occasional Nordrassil Wisp, very close/easy access to a stable master, and a little higher than dragonblight level-wise for better XP.
Krasarang might not be bad, depending on where you are in zone, but I see more beasts near the alliance stable master, so probably less ideal.

I leveled one of my toons from 87 to 88 just fighting the dragonbone hatchlings. Each fight gives 0.7 %, and I got 2 stones I'm that time. That would be my preference when looking for flying stones!
