Caging issue

I just completed the Beasts of Fable. I did well in the bag with a flawless magic stone and a snowy panda. I learned the snow panda. Then I was going to cage it so I could check the market. However the "Put In cage" was greyed out and it also had (Health) beside it.
Any Ideas?

Yes this has happened to me too. I think the newly learned pets are being seen by the system as not having full health. Healing your pets should fix it.

Looks like your question has been answered, but there is another cause of this that can cause confusion. If the pet is part of a battle team, it can't be caged either. Took me a while to figure out that one.

I've had this problem with Snowy Panda in particular (got 6 of these i na row before gettign the other two -_-).
I tried caging her on another realm and wasn't allowed due to low health. Pet showed 157/158 health. I used the team heal and a bandage but neither worked, then I gave up because I had to rush out of game.
