What does it sell for on your server? Saw one for 50k and thought that was a little bit too much but hey; what do I know? lol

i bought mine for 7.5k, then next day doing dailys i got one. 50k is way to much

I give my extras away to friends for free. If it was selling for 50K in the AH, i think i'd keep it and sell it. I'm used to seeing it for about 5k.

Giving away extras?? I think I must have been really unlucky with drops. I've been doing my pet battle dailies every day since I unlocked them in October and no sign of a single Porcupette. They rarely show up in the AH on Moonglade either, although I'm not planning to buy one. It'll drop eventually!

They are about a 1 in 500 drop, if I recall correctly from one of the data collecting websites.

A guildie of mine got one recently and after he put it up for 9k buyout, I strongly advised him to try putting it for at least 12k. He put it at 12k and it sold within 5 minutes. Since then, I have seen a few for sale around the 15k range.

This pet actually happens to be truly rare and worth it's value. Pets such as the Aqua Strider, Grinder, Pandaren Spirits, etc all have their initial appeal driving prices up at first, but as their markets become saturated, they lose value fast. Same thing happened with the Raiding With Leashes pets. Porcupette will continue to be expensive due to the low drop rate from the pet bags (except the Pandaren Spirit bags, as they only drop the Spirit pets).

I was lucky and got a Porcupette perhaps only a month into trying the pet battle system. I have easily done 100+ dailies since then and have not seen another.

I have gotten 2, I kept one and gave the other to a friend.

I have NEVER gotten mine, i bought mine off the AH. And boy have i been doing dailies since very early and everyday at that. It is really rare, at least for me -_- .

Just got mine today. I do dailies a lot!! I like that some pets are rare, but you can still grind for them.

When I first started doing pet battles with tamers I got one from the second baggie I received (the tamer in Northern Barrens), and I thought they were just that common. After that I received another one after several months of doing dailies again. On my server they go around 8-10k which to me isn't worth it, so I gave it away and will give away any more extras I happen to get.

So what price would a Darkmoon Eye be worth? 15k? seen even less of these compared to Porcupette

6k on my realm is what the porcupette is listed for right now.
