I have now seen what appears to be an S/S (power was 9, speed was 14) as well as a B/B (10 power 10 speed I think). Has anyone seen anything else? It would be a shame to spend ~100k gold on a non-ideal breed.

I apparently have s/s. When did these become combat pets? I thought they initially weren't or am I just completely clueless?

After leveling him his breed changed from first stated s/s to b/b Perhaps the addon read his stats wrong since he was level 1? I'm not sure whats up but I'm sad. ><

Remember that most addons can't tell absolutely what breed you have at L1.
I'm not sure why that is, but it seems that 'breed changes' from L1 to L2 are the result of addons finally recognizing the proper breed.

And Petsear.ch says [url=http://petsear.ch/Breeds]says there's only one Dragon Kite breed[/url]: S/S.

H: 1400
P: 260
S: 325

Nope there are more... the reason i only show 1 is because i added it manually.
The Dragon Kite is heavily bugged in armory. Its impossible to get the breeds nice.

Hehe, nice to have the Petsear.ch author on the site! I am certain I have seen a B/B and an S/S. So I know there are at least 2. The question is, how many others are there...?

Mine is 1481 HP at lvl 25 with 276 in both attack and speed.

Mine is 1400 Hp, 260 Attack, and 325 Speed at 25.

So far i scanned 2 different ones

The scanner is broken. Mine is NOT B/B and is level 25 but that website lists it as being B/B.

Mine is level 25 with 1400 health, 260 attack, and 325 speed.

I'm very, very surprised if there are indeed multiple breeds for a pet this rare.

Which would be considered the "better" of the two?

Me too. It would annoy me greatly to get the 'sub-par' breed if I'd paid USD$50 or $100 for one.

b/b imo. All b/b will have less stats then their competitor. The s/s will have the full use of its stats.

So this would be the only TCG pet that can come with multiple breeds, correct?

I find this rather odd.

Just to be sure it isn't a bug they are fixing in 5.2 but haven't documented, can people check your breeds on the PTR the next time you are there?

I spoke to a gm about mine changing breeds and was told they are looking into it as if its a bug.

I highly doubt this matters...but it's possible: could the B/B balance be kites that only came from BMAH while the S/S versions are from turning in TCG codes?

This could easily be shot down if someone got an S/S on the BMAH.

Just a theory that probably will turn out to not even be valid, but worth a thought.

Not entirely sure I'd see a B/B as being subpar to a S/S on a Flying pet.
