Hey everyone, so i have found a few pets with breed ??? does anyone know what that means?

Breeds are the stat distributions of a certain pet. You have 3 stats: health (H), power (P), speed (S). There is a combination of all which is balance (B). Health breeds will have more life, power breeds will deal more damage with their moves, and speed determines which pet will attack first. H/H breeds will have a lot of life, H/P breeds will have their stats allocated to life and damage, and so on and so forth.

If you have the addon and are still seeing "??? breed" that means the pet is either too new and the addon hasn't been updated with information on it yet, or the addon is having trouble determining the pet's breed. The latter can happen because breeds can be difficult to tell based on the pet's low level stats (values are sometimes too close to each other). There's an almost 'ah-ha!' moment for the addon once you level up the pet a few times, and the ??? should turn into a proper breed assignment.

You can also always check WarcraftPets for the breed you've collected. It's listed on the pet's page, under the item tooltip image, in the My Collection section, above the My Rating section.
