Larger than normal pets?

Post by Snowyjoe » May 8th, 2019, 12:53 am

So I've recently discovered that pets like Fjord Rat is bigger than a normal Rat and Devouring Maggot IS HUGE Image

I was wondering if there are other wild battle pets out there that are pretty big, it's kind of hard to know the size just from looking at the model viewer.

I know the Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling comes in three different sizes, one is super tiny, one is medium, and one is huge, larger than the Gryphon Hatchling :)

This doesn't directly answer your question, but in case you're interested...

All currently known wild pets that come in different sizes:
- Desert Spider (2 different sizes)
- Frostfur Rat (2)
- Golden Civet Kitten (2)
- Leopard Tree Frog (2)
- Parched Lizard (2)
- Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling (3)
- Yellow-Bellied Bullfrog (2)

It's also part of your character's point of view. You'll see a larger version when looking at your own summoned pet vs. someone else that did not summon it. Likewise you looking at someone else's summoned battle pet.

I can't quite remember when this change happened, but I'm fairly confident that it's a thing. I'll try and check with a guildmate to confirm our POVs.

Thanks for all the replies!
With the character POV thing, I tested it out on my trial account and that thing is still pretty huge.

I'm glad it still shows up as a large pet to others too. This thing is my new best friend!
