So I've noticed that certain pets don't have the option to cage.. anyone know why that is?

I caught 3 Baby Ape's and I'd really like to give one to a friend of mine and sell the other one.

Pets that your capture in the wild can't be caged. You can cage most pets that you have purchased or are drops, but anything you catch via pet battles is off limits.

Where does the caged pet go? Do they go to your bags, or somewhere else?
