RAF Question

If I read everything right on some RAF threads, this time can only be added to starter accounts?
Why I am asking is because I know many long time subscribers that have left, but if I sent them 3 months of game play for their Main account that is inactive I know they would play some and maybe even come back!!
Maybe Blizzard will see this and make it possible to not only Refer A Friend but also consider it as Resurrecting a Friend and give us the pets!! :D

RaF is for new accounts..

What you want is SoR, which doesn't exist anymore.

This is what confuses me. SoR would be great for in between expansions and directly prior to them. I wish I could get my friends back into it. It seems my lack of online friends is making WoW not a priority for me anymore either.
