The collection number in-game doesn’t show unique pets. It shows all pets including duplicates. The achievements will correctly list your number of unique pets. If your updated collection here says 920, I bet that’s what your Hearthy achievement says too.

Also addons like Rematch (which every pet person should have) show both total pets and total unique pets.

Your WarcraftPets stat comes directly from your armory page, which also shows 929 unique pets collected.

It's possible the achievement is counting a Guild Page and/or Guild Herald that you learned on another toon. These two companions are character specific, but the achievement is likely account-wide. The Page and Herald cause the most issue when it comes to the total number of unique pets.

Hi,

I just do not see the idea/thought that the NON PLAYING pets should not count, when we have to go through the quests and what not to get them ... might as well "remove" them from the listing and code altogether ... and explain clearly that NON PLAYING pets are not involved.

It's weird for me, because that happens to be my current number of pets right now ... 927 ... not counting how many of the NON PLAYING ones I have ... I think 11 of them, and I have stopped going after the NON PLAYING ones ... a waste of time for "no credit".

Feels like college again ... always get cheated somehow by a professor or two!
