Since it takes three weeks to earn one, what do you think is a good gold to week ratio for it? 100k a week maybe? more?

Not sure if I want to sell this or keep my first. It's pretty cute, looks amazing and also shoots fireworks at random times.

You might find somebody crazy enough not to simply wait 6 weeks to earn all three pets, but it seems unlikely. The "bubble" for Mechantula is just about burst with sub-1k gold pets in the AH in the very near future. Sub-100k might net you an impatient buyer, though everyone is looking for a bargain.

the mechantula can be bought for less than 5k.
the leper rat (only 1 being sold WoW wide) for 100k on Malfurian
Alarm o dog is running in the 350k+ territory

You would be surprised the number of people who would rather pay for something than do something for a cosmetic.

I've been posting Polished Pet Charms pets on the AH and despite pets that are cross-faction *and* involve lengthy quest chains in some instances, I don't think I've seen any of the pets I've farmed sell for more than 60k gold, if that.

I think the popular Youtube pundits touting easy gold from pet farming poisoned the market. The prices are high according to the auction reports but they aren't actually selling at those prices. I'm slashing prices after several months and saving the rest of my pet charms for the toys now.

Earlier this week I saw one posted in the AH (Ravencrest) that had been leveled to 25. It was selling for $3,000,000 gold.

what kind of fool does that? there's no way it will ever sell.

Have sold two so far (both at lvl 25) first for 245k and then the second for 265k. Tokens being around 120k makes that price more than acceptable for me

The alarm-o-dog is down to 94k on Stormrage now.
Thats the lowest price I've seen there..pretty low considering it takes 3 weeks of doing the dungeon to get it.

With all the new pets, if you don't want them yourself, sell as quickly as you can. Prices drop fast. And depend a lot on which realm you list them on. The popular realms, ones that show as FULL, more dungeon and raid fans that aren't really into pets so dump them on AH. The MEDIUM realms prices lot higher, but their people seem to have less extra Gold. Also on weekends prices seem to go up as lot more casual players on.

Sunday midnight on FULL realms (Pacific Time) Stormrage price Alarm and Leper is 80K and 235K. On Area52, it's 140 and 150.
